Bowling Banquet 2007

Kennedy had her very first bowling banquet today. She got two trophies, two plaques, and a medal! I was, needless to say, a VERY proud mama. She was SO excited as she hadn't won a trophy before so getting two big ones was just like winning the lottery. She was so pleased to see her name engraved on everything. She was hugging her trophies and was pleased as punch standing up there with her team. She got awards for "Most Improved New Bowler", 2nd place team for tournament, personal high triple, single, and average, 2nd place overall team, attendance, and about four certificates for various categories. It was such an exciting day - it will be a long summer without bowling. I'll have to continue taking her once in a while so she keeps her 'game' on.
